Turner Industries Group has an I/E Planner position open for a jobsite in the Orange, TX area. This position will work with our Project Planning team. The project planning team assists in achieving project objectives by monitoring job progress according to schedules and managing the project according to contract and internal procedures. This position is also responsible for the following items:

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental excellence
  • Prior maintenance planning experience, including process downtime and outages
  • SAP experience, including maintenance planning boards and PM administration / creation
  • MS Office experience, including development of spreadsheets to track and chart information pertaining to maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and estimating the repairing, replacing and installing DCS, PLC and HMI components, motors, A/C and D/C VFD's, electrical circuits and MCC starters
  • Troubleshooting and estimating the repairing, replacing, and installing conduit, wiring and electrical equipment
  • Troubleshooting and estimating the calibration, replacing and installation of instrumentation components
  • Troubleshooting and estimating the calibration, replacing, rebuilding, and installing of control valves
  • Estimating the replacement, adjusting, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution center breakers
  • Knowledge of operating HV switches
  • Troubleshooting and estimating repairing and replacing controls communication networks
  • Troubleshooting process upsets
  • Supporting maintenance with all E&I documentation
  • Working independently as well as with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Assists with planning/scheduling effort for major plant turn-around and equipment overhauls
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental excellence
  • Prior maintenance planning experience, including process downtime and outages
  • Develops job plans in a detailed and professional manner to safely conduct work
  • Plans all maintenance and turnaround E&I work, estimates time and resources, and assist with scheduling E&I work
  • Insures parts, materials, and tools are appropriately requisitioned to complete planned jobs

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering or Management, or 5+ years of technical or relevant experience
  • Competent in Primavera P6 software as a 'hands-on' user required
  • SAP experience preferred, not required
  • Experience in engineering and/or construction work process and activity sequence required
  • Capital Project experience preferred
  • Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts
  • Ability to monitor and report project progress
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment is critical
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are important
